Carl Evans, Jr., frontman and keyboardist of San Diego's most famous band Fattburger, died yesterday. He was a great songwriter. When he agreed to critique a piece of music I wrote many years ago, he said--in the kindest way possible--that he didn't see anything special in it. He was right.
